6.10.17: One Day In Vratsa

Tonight’s village soundtrack: ladies laughing, peacocks, a lonely donkey.

In just over 24 hours, here’s what we’ve encountered:

homemade moussaka, cucumber soup, yogurt, cheese and rakia (thank you, Toni and Roza!!!!)

fireworks

a wedding

a children’s festival

a hip hop festival

all kinds of cool signs

an empty train station with fancy chandeliers

dozens of death notices

many coffee machines

a slew of t-shirts printed with sparkly kitties and oddball sayings

an awesome group of young folks who will be participating in The Sound We See: Vratsa

and some rather magnificent mountains!
