Today Mom treats me to lunch at the hottest new bistro in Paris: Bistrotters. (I still don’t know how she scored us a reservation when the website doesn’t show an opening for weeks…) True to the hype, the food is magnificent, the service warm and the room inviting. Best of all, though, I am reminded just how much I enjoy my Mom’s company during these all-too-rare mother-daughter tête-à-têtes. Thanks for everything, Joanne… You are truly one dame formidable.
Meanwhile, back at the flat, Max is busy writing postcards and pretending to shower. Time to enjoy some of this sultry summertime air! The late afternoon/early evening is dedicated to strolling the city; we are three flaneurs with nothing to do and nowhere to be… Photos by Max.
Excellent photography. Must be in the genes.
