6.17.13: I Want Candy

Max: “In Paris, I prefer the candy to the chocolate. In Canada, I prefer the chocolate to the candy.”

Boss: “I love it all!”

Lisa: “Mmmm… free samples…”

After a visit to the Musée Gustave Moreau for a little culture, we rev up the sugar rush and hit Fouquet (established 1852), A La Mere de Famille (established 1761) and A l’Etoile D’Or (established many decades ago by the ageless Denise Acabo) in a matter of hours. Back at the flat, we are now working our way through the biggest assortment of violet candies, lollipops, salted caramels, and white/milk/dark chocolate with and without hazelnuts you have ever seen!
