This afternoon I get a surprise invitation to a woodworking masterclass at the Bo-Gi house. Even though he’s only 12, David is not only a tremendous artist (in two minutes he turns an old board and some discarded wire into a thing of beauty) but he’s a fantastic teacher too, patiently demonstrating techniques step by step and generously praising my rudimentary first effort as klass – that means cool!

Are you sure he is only 12?? Artist and teacher…
BTW, the carved board would make an awesome print. Some paint, some paper and rub with a wooden spoon (or a person stepping onto it carefully)… voila..
You guys do really fun stuff.. !!
Yeah! I’m graduating from hand-carved rubber stamps to full-on woodcuts! Woohoo!
But of course you are multiple-oriented, so you know that… 🙂
I keep telling you that David’s are a force to be reckoned with!
Fantastic…..Get those visas cooking….David and Varsava Bo-Gi as instructors at A FREE SCHOOL! (http://www.afreeschool.org)
….. and I especially love the little waving robot of course 😉
