7.15.12: Flying Eggs

In addition to an amazing array of artifacts unearthed at the local Trypillian archeological site, the Legedzine museum also exhibits contemporary painting, ceramics and crafts. My favorite right now is a mysterious mobile made of triangular balsa wood good luck charms embedded with eggs painted with traditional designs specific to this region. Sit beneath the object with your palms up and the whole thing begins to spin. The direction and speed is different for each person who tries it…. Kind of like a Ukrainian mood ring.
