2.4.12: Winding Down

As the film festival winds down, there is a feeling of our “real” life here in Rotterdam beginning: on a wintery Saturday this means a trip to the market, skating on the frozen canal, checking out the library and community center, buying tickets for an upcoming football match at nearby Sparta Stadium (the oldest in Holland!) and finding the local mosque.

    Hi Lisa & Paolo,
Great photos! I was thinking you should check out the 2nd World War Museums in Holland; they must be really interesting. Those people put up with the Goddamn Nazis for so long
without any help. Lets pray it never happens again!
Had a fun day today….good music, good singing, & good beer, & good friends! What could be nicer? Well the only thing I can think of is having you two here & sharing the experience.
Have fun; look out for each other; & cheer for the PATRIOTS!
    Love you guys,
