2.25.16: Mary Jane

A real treat for today’s session: a guest presentation by Yukon filmmaker and Vuntut Gwitchin Heritage Coordinator Mary Jane Moses and Our World Mentor Lisa g Nielsen! Mary Jane and Lisa g were instrumental in the production of The Sound We See: Old Crow and it was terrific to share this work with our current SWS filmmakers. Mary Jane’s films about living on the land with her husband Georgie and making caribou drymeat were also big hits with The Sound We See: Vancouver participants as well as adult students from yesterday’s Intro to 16mm workshop. Mahsi Choo, Mary Jane, for sharing your culture and your creativity with us!
