Our Adventure To India begins! But first, a wee stopover in Dubai to break up the 24-hour flight… The world’s tallest building! Glamorous hotels! A gigantic mall that stays open until 1 in the morning and contains not only a zillion stores ranging from Tim Horton Donuts to Muji to Bloomingdales but also an aquarium, an ice rink and a children’s winter wonderland! Men in long white gowns and women with beautiful black eyebrows! No garbage anywhere! No dogs! Balmy air that smells sweet and delicious! Dancing fountains! And this is just the first hour…

The flight literally flew by! Tasty food, amazing array of movies and music to choose from, no screaming babies and I slept 8 hours. Dubai Airport is biggest in the world, easy to navigate and absolutely spotless. Our hotel is lovely and everyone is super friendly… It’s like a super clean version of Las Vegas…
