What can you do with a city sidewalk? How about using it as a restaurant, laundromat, parking lot, banquet hall, lottery ticket point of purchase, fix-it shop, gambling/social club, fireplace, tea station, motorcycle helmet boutique, storage area, badminton court, fruit stand, chicken coop and hair salon… and that’s just one block!
That is amazing!! And here we have people struggling to “reclaim” or “repurpose” space… I love how the streets get used there!
My favourite is the nice warm fire…!
I know… the more time I spend in Hanoi, the more LA seems like a dead city… we need to activate our potential!
Also that beautiful tree stump with the tea on it would look right at home in a Cote Sud magazine… for a really crazy price!
