1.10.13: Cut It Out!

It’s the last “official” editing day… Time to critique the work (a process that can take several hours at DocLab!) and meet with the composers/musicians. We are extremely fortunate to be working with HueTrinh Luong and Tri Minh on the original score for The Sound We See: Hanoi; can’t wait to see what they and their musical friends come up with… The premiere is set for Saturday, January 19 at 7 pm!

  1. Sure hope it warms up by the time we get there mid February.
Do the students switch-up the filming times so they aren’t always filming in the middle of the night ?
Or do they only get one shoot each?
    Stay safe.

  2. Well, at worst it’s kind of like Vancouver weather… This weekend it’s supposed to get up to 21c and when we got here on December 18 it was positively balmy so you never know…
All the students got to film one hour between 6 am and 6 pm and a second hour between 6 pm and 6 am so they had a daylight hour and a night-time one… good to mix it up!
I’ll make sure you get a DVD when the project’s completed so you can check out the finished film… I think it’s going to be a good one!
