4.27.12: Real Life Teardrops n’ Tulips

This morning it’s back to Bristol for Joff… thanks for the songs, the drawings, the goofs and the good times… we miss you already!

The fields on the way to the airport are filled with flowers.

In the afternoon, we visit the new EYE Film Institute Netherlands: part state-of-the-art cinema, part sleek museum space, part archive, part futuristic interactive zone, part glam hangout. We spend hours in the Found Footage: Cinema Exposed exhibit watching Aernout Mik’s White Suits and Black Hats (the old people love it!) and Bruce Conner’s Three Screen Ray (the children love it!)… We give it a 10.
