Today an exploration of Pest, located on the other side of the Danube from my home turf of Buda. Highlights include an afternoon at the glamorous Szechenyi Baths, an avant-garde WWII play at Trafó where the audience shows appreciation with slow-motion clapping, and a mysterious redheaded girl inviting me to a birthday party at a ruin pub with “free beer… really good free beer!”
