4.5.15: Here Comes Peter Cottontail… And A Pack of Dogs!

It’s Easter Sunday and that means time for some alpaca therapy followed by a giant Olive Mill carvery dinner followed by hot air balloon chasing with our two top Brits, Joff and Emma.

In the evening, it’s over to Burnham-On-Sea for Ignite Somerset, an Engine Room/Somerset Film public projections project featuring work by Sound We See participants Mary, Linda, Frances and Judy, who is filming the event for the 9 pm hour. There’s pancakes n’ icecream, “Silent Disco” dancing, and dreamy animated images playing over the giant brick wall of the Princess Theater, concurrently hosting something advertised as a “folk festival” but is actually a cover band doing some pretty intense Alanis Morisette covers.

Just when I think I can’t take another angst-ridden chorus of You Oughta Know, Barry and Adrian swoop in to the rescue and zip us out to the mysterious town of Frome (baby rabbits and white tailed deer galore on the roads tonight!) for a completely surreal 2 am shoot involving stone carving, a wheelbarrow and a pack of dogs. By the end of the night we are ALL howling at the moon…
