Gloves on. Line up A Roll and B Roll. Mark it. Reverse it. Cut it. Grab the next clip. Unwrap it. Unroll it. Into the splicer: film on bottom left; leader on top (or vice versa, depending). Frames hanging over. Top down. Slice ’em. Left up. Scrape ’em: enough but not too much. Dust away emulsion shards with paintbrush. Top up. Move leader to bottom part right side. Lift it. Top down left side. Glue tiny strip of film with tiny brush: enough but not too much. Right side down. Press and wait 60 seconds. Pull up left and right. Lift splice. Test it. Reverse the flow. Roll it on down the line. Repeat 500 times.
